The article attempts to analyze the style and language of the novel The Driver’s Seat by Muriel Spark and how they are used to tell the story of Lise, the main character of The Driver’s Seatby Muriel Spark in English and in the Polish translation by Jacek Dehnel. The topics discussed are: the title, style of narration as well as metareferences in the novel.
